ZOE launches Pilot Season on Kickstarter

ZOEfans! Your friends over at Zombie Orpheus and Dead Gentlemen have launched an ambitious Kickstarter campaign that seeks to work with two additional production companies – Gravestone Entertainment and Battleground Productions – to launch four pilot episodes under the Zombie Orpheus banner. Their funding target is $150,000 to produce four 10-minute pilots and the campaign concludes on Fri, May 29 at 9:00 PM PDT. The quick pitch for each pilot is as follows:

The Gamers: The Series

“Stuck and miserable in our mundane world, fantasy heroes Rogar, Newmoon, Nimble, and Magellan find a chance to return home when The Shadow opens a portal from Earth to Fartherall. Now they must decide whether to pass through or stay here and thwart The Shadow’s devious plan.”

The Mirror Game

“A group of nerdy kids discover that an online urban legend (The Mirror Game) is not only true, but being used to open a portal between worlds for the Great Old Ones; those terrifying beings written about by H.P. Lovecraft.” 

Brass

“The Brass family is a 19th century clan of celebrated Victorian geniuses. Lord Brass is a scientist inventor, Lady Brass, a Sherlock Homes-level detective, daughter Gwendolyn a mistress of disguise, and son Cyril a savant martial artist.”

Demon Hunters Red Tape

“A formerly kick-ass agent for the Brotherhood of the Celestial Torch, Gabriel has been grounded. Now he runs the Brotherhood’s HR department – managing Demon Hunters, monsters who have come over to the side of the light, and a new recruit who would rather be in the field.”
